Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation

On July 21, 2016, Sean Cumberlege, a Trubshaw Cumberlege Director spoke at the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation Annual Conference in Squaw Valley, California. Along with a co-presenter from Chevron, Sean spoke about the need for extractive companies to commit to operating with integrity, including the merits of apply a more data driven and locally specific approach to identifying and mitigating social risk, including supply chain risk. The talk also framed social risk issues for an audience comprised mostly of attorneys. Trubshaw Cumberlege is obviously delighted to have been asked to participate in such a reputable event. Sean's paper on the same topic will be published in the Annual Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation hardback "Proceedings of the 62nd Annual Institute," as well as online in the Foundation’s Digital Library, Westlaw, and Lexis Nexis.
